New York City is an incredible place, and New Yorkers generally use a TON of energy to make it so rad. Here's a look at the city's energy use from 2010, amalgamated by zip code over an entire year. While the data isn't super relateable, it gives an idea of where the most and least electricity is being used across the city. Although I chose to show the commercial electricity use, there is also data for institutional, large residential, and small residential use by zip code. These can help to pinpoint places of high electric bills where people might be willing to invest more to try and lower their bills and environmental footprint.
